Final Project

Instructions:

1. Continuing from Project 3, based on the selected story, create a ONE PAGE introduction of your visual novel or comic to your reader with at least ONE animated panel.
2. Arrange your story in visual sequences that make sense and easily understood. Consider the choice of panel arrangements and transitions. Determine as well which panel(s) will be best visualized as animation. 
3. Technical files: Final *.ai & *.psd
4. Design files: Final *.png & *.gif compiled in Google slides 
5. Project 3 & Final compilation: Google slides [21 x 30 cm]

REFLECTIONS

Experience

I feel that the journey of learning IVN was both challenging and fascinating. It was challenging because often I had to rely on AI to create artwork, and every detail needed to be in place for the work to appear realistic. The initial character design was incredibly enjoyable, as I created a character based on my own zodiac sign. 

However, when it came to the "My Tiger" poster, I faced some difficulties. It was my first time using AI to create a painting, so I wasn't very familiar with the brush tool. Additionally, I wanted to make it look more realistic, which led to spending some time researching and experimenting. Nevertheless, I was fairly satisfied with the final outcome, although it lacked a lot of creative elements.

When it came to the final project, there was an improvement. I started to get the hang of it and paid attention to finer details. However, I feel that I didn't execute the animation aspect as well as I had hoped.
Overall, the journey was challenging but rewarding, allowing me to explore my own imaginative ideas within the realm of IVN.

Findings

Throughout this journey of learning IVN, I have learned to employ various techniques in my artwork. For example, I discovered how to use different shades of color to depict shadows and how to create my own patterns. However, I believe there are still many functionalities that I need to explore further.
