LECTURES

Week 1/Onboarding

During the first week, Mr Asrizal explained to us the requirements of this module and what each project entails. We learned that the projects will be done in groups, but we won't be assigned groups until Friday. Additionally, the lecturer briefed us on what "culture sensitivity" means to ensure we have a better understanding and certainty about the final outcome. The lecturer instructed us to brainstorm ideas at home and share them with our group members on Friday to make decisions.

REFLECTIONS

This is one of the few group projects in the course, so when it came to forming groups, I was excited about the prospect of exchanging ideas with students from other seminars. Once we successfully formed our team, our discussions flowed smoothly, with each member contributing their ideas, and we unanimously chose "Dia de los Muertos" as our topic.

Our tasks were clearly defined, and everyone had their own part to complete. Through this project, my knowledge of and respect for this culture increased from 10% to 70%. I became curious and eager to understand this culture better.
