Features Implemented
  • Clothing Scan & Button Display: Users can scan a specific clothing item, and a button with the clothing name appears on the screen, acting as the starting point for further interactions.
  • Sizing Details Page: Upon clicking the clothing name button, users are directed to a sizing details page. This page provides detailed size-related information tailored to the user.
  • Try-On Scene: Users can try on the clothing virtually. When the selected item aligns perfectly with the user’s measurements, the outline of the clothing (e.g., a cropped tube top) turns green, indicating a good fit.
  • Virtual Wardrobe: Successfully matched clothing items can be added to a virtual wardrobe, allowing users to manage their selections conveniently within the app.
  • Offer Size Recommendations: After the user's body aligns with the shirt outline, the app provides personalized size recommendations based on their measurements and the clothing's size chart.
  • Payment Feature: Users can purchase clothing directly from the app via a secure payment gateway.

REFLECTIONS

I find this project incredibly fun because I had the opportunity to explore AR, something I had never encountered before. I even learned how to create using Unity, which was entirely new to me. To be honest, I felt very lost in the beginning when I first came up with the idea. I wasn’t sure if I could actually bring it to life or make it work in the end. However, as I tackled each challenge step by step and saw the results align with my vision, I felt truly happy and accomplished.

There were times when bugs appeared, and resolving them often took a long time, which felt like a significant waste of time. But in the end, I managed to overcome all the issues. I’m incredibly grateful to Mr. Razif for his guidance, as his teachings helped me deeply understand the intricacies of Unity. Through this project, I not only expanded my knowledge of AR but also gained problem-solving skills and the confidence to push through challenges. It's been a rewarding experience seeing my ideas come to life and witnessing the magic of combining creativity with technology.
